YÜZÜ DENİZ, SIRTI ORMAN ANTİK KENT KERAMOS
Ören has the longest beach with 8.5 km lenght in Turkey. It reaches up to 28 kms with Çökertme Bay. There is a well known quote from the one of the most famous Turkish writer Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı called "Halicarnassos Fisher" in international literacy: "It is said 'See Rome once and die in happiness' but 'See Gökova and live'" The oceanographist Captain Cousteau sayas that, "I sailed on the all seas of the world. But if you are looking for a heaven on the earth, that is Gökova Gulf." So, briefly to call Ören as "the dreaming place which becomes into reality" is not an exaggreation.

Ören is placed in the north coast of Gökova Gulf, 39 kilometers north of Milas town in Muğla City. The ancient city Keramos famous with its ceramic arts in 3000 B.C., is inside Ören's settling area.
With its unique nature that provides low humidity and high available oxygen for lungs Ören, is a fabulous place. The city leans to cliff and foresty mountains. There lies a plain which is formed by the alluvium brought by Kocaçay river passing through the front of city.
